  • Raising a Mathematician Programme

    Mst. Viraj Shah (Grade X) of Children's Academy, Ashok Nagar is selected for "Raising a Mathematician Programme" among top 100 students across India. He will be given a free one-week residential training on Mathematics at Chennai Mathematical Institute.

  • Pramerica Community Service Awards

    Mst. Trith Kamdar (Grade X-B), Mst. Siddh Shah( Grade X-C), Mst. Darshil Maru (Grade X-C), Mst. Krish Doshi (Grade X-C) and Mst. Bhavya Jasani (Grade X-D) from Children's Academy, Ashok Nagar were awarded the ‘First Prize’ at the "Pramerica Community Service Awards" , National Level, and were given a Gold Medal and cash Prize of Rs. 50000/- on 20th February 2020 at The Holiday Inn, NEW DELHI . The event was organised by Pramerica Life Insurance.
    They have been actively campaigning for Saving Birds and operate an emergency 'Bird saving service" taking care of injured birds.
  • Winners at Zonal level Science Exhibition Competition

    Children’s Academy, Thakur Complex has secured the Best School Award for schools between Bandra and Dahisar and has also been felicitated with the MLA award for Best Schools.

  • Winners at Zonal level Science Exhibition Competition

    Ms. Seema Sharma of Children`s Academy , Thakur Complex secured Second place in the Junior Population Education Teaching Aid . Her project was Lok-rath. It incorporated a cycle rickshaw that had several games and interesting modules to portray the hazards of population explosion.

  • Winners at Zonal level Science Exhibition Competition

    Mr. Harish Tanwar of Children`s Academy , Thakur Complex has secured First Place in the Senior Teaching Aid category and has been selected for the State Level. He had presented a teaching Aid MATH-BIN which incorporated several easy methods of teaching Math at Senior level. All the articles were made from Waste materials. He has also been conferred with the MLA Kapil Patil Award for his exemplary performance.

  • India Centre For Plastics in the Environment (ICPE)

    Ms. Mahi Shah (Grade V) from Children's Academy Ashok Nagar bagged the Third Place in West Zone -Junior category for Video Presentation of "Management of Plastic Waste". 
    This Competition was conducted by  "India Centre For Plastics in the Environment (ICPE)"  .
    It was an ALL INDIA SCHOOL CONTEST - 2019.
  • RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT 2020

    Children's Academy Ashok Nagar is proud of Ms. Rujula Desai (Grade VII) who bagged the 1st Place at the "RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT 2020" held on 09th February 2020 at Kewal Baug, Kandivali West.

  • Nehru Science Center Science Quiz

    Mst. Jay Mehta (Grade X), Mst. Viraj Shah (Grade X), Mst. Dev Mehta (Grade IX) and Mst. Arya Ganatra ( Grade IX) from Children's Academy Ashok Nagar participated in the Nehru Science Center Science Quiz contest held on 01st February 2020 and won the "First Place" in Mumbai amongst 200 participating schools.

  • 16th M. R. Pai Memorial Elocution

    Ms. Asmi Ganatra (Grade IX) from Children's Academy Ashok Nagar participated in " 16th M. R. Pai Memorial Elocution " hosted by The Forum of free Enterprise, Wadala on 26th January 2020 and won the "First Place" with a cash prize of Rs 10000/-

  • Vision 2030

    Mast. Harit Trivedi (Grade VIII) and Mast. Aayush Jena (Grade VII) from Children's Academy Ashok Nagar participated in "Vision 2030" Quiz competition conducted by Sky education Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), chembur on 25th January 2020 and won "Second Place".

  • The Hindu Young World Quiz

    Mst. Dev Mehta (Grade IX) and Mst. Arya Ganatra (Grade IX) of Children's Academy, Ashok Nagar bagged the 1st place in the Senior Category at The Hindu "Young World Quiz” contest. They were awarded a Cash Prize of Rs. 5000/- and they have also qualified for the National Level. Mst.Vihan Parekh (Grade VI)  and Mst. Rohan Ketkar (Grade VI) also from Children's Academy, Ashok Nagar,  bagged the 4th Place in the Junior category.

  • S.T.E.M. Competition

    The Cognium STEM Institute hosted a series of competitions which aimed to help students break the barriers of bookish knowledge and move forward towards acquiring skills of application. 
     
    Our genius young minds excelled in this competition as well and demonstrated their brilliance yet again!

    Children's Academy, Ashok Nagar has been awarded as the best school for promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education.

  • MISA Skating Competition 2020

    We are proud to announce that Mst. Meet Shah from Class X-ICSE and Mst. Aaradhya Sharma class I-ICSE Children’s Academy, Malad bagged the 1st place in the u/17 race and 3rd place in the u/7 race respectively in the MISA Skating Competition 2020 conducted at Euro School, Airoli.   • Swachh Sarvekshan 2020

    Children's Academy, Ashok Nagar has been awarded by MCGM as one of the top three cleanest and environmentally friendly schools in Mumbai as a part of the Swachh Survekshan 2020.
    Ms. Sheela Mallya, Principal- Children's Academy Ashok Nagar, accepted the award on behalf of the school from the Mayor of Mumbai, Ms. Kishori Pednekar and the Minister for Environment, Mr. Aditya Thackeray.

    This award is a testament to the efforts of our students, teaching and non-teaching staff in maintaining cleanliness at our school. We'd especially like to dedicate this award to our diligent ancillary staff. We also appreciate MCGM's effort to generate awareness regarding cleanliness and in building a cleaner and greener Mumbai.

  • Khelo India Youth Games 2020.

    Ms. Parignya Kasture, a former student of the Academy, has made her alma mater and her coaches at the academy proud by bagging the silver medal in Judo in the Khelo India Youth Games. Ms. Kasture is currently being trained by JSW Sports with the view to represent India at the Olympics. The Children's Academy Group of Schools is proud of the success garnered all over the world by its alumnus. Hearty congratulations to Ms. Parignya and her coaches.

  • Rural Games Roller Skating National Championship 2020

    Mst. Meet Shah from Children's Academy Malad, has made CAGS proud by bagging the Gold Medal in 1000m race and the silver medal in the 500m race at the Rural Games Roller Skating National Championship 2020 held in Belgaon, Karnataka. 
    He has been selected to represent India at the International Championship in Thailand. Hearty congratulations to Mst. Meet Shah and the coaches for his extraordinary achievement.
  • P WARD - Laboratory Assistant Achievement Award

    At Children's Academy Group of Schools, we understand that each employee has an innate desire to contribute to something bigger than themselves. Mr. Hitesh Upadhyay, our ancillary staff member at Children's Academy, Malad has made the school proud by consistently participating in P-Ward Competitions and receiving the Laboratory Assistant Achievement Award since 2014.     Ms. Ananya Vartak, Mst. Shaurya Patil, Mst. Palash Jadav, Ms. Pahal Shah the best presentation award at the AWIM (A world in Motion) National Olympics 2019 held at Chennai. The group stood first amongst the 12 teams participating in the Glider category.

  • Brainfeed award 2019

    Children's Academy, Malad was ranked amongst the top schools of Maharashtra, 2019 by the esteemed Brainfeed Magazine. Participating in the "School Excellence Awards 2019," the Academy acquired the ranking in the categories of Best ICSE School, Innovative Practices, Sports Education, Co-Curricular Activities, Safety and Security, that gauged standards in academic excellence of ICSE schools pan India. 
     
    As the Academy celebrates its Golden Jubilee year this academic session, this award sets the right stimulus to our celebrations. 
     
  • 19th consecutive Best School Award for Children’s Academy, Malad

     

    It was yet another momentous win this Golden Jubilee year of the Academy as the budding talents of Children’s Academy Malad lifted the ‘Best School Trophy’ in P ward  2019-2020 organized by the Secondary Education Department, west zone. The children outdid the top finishers with a clear majority and proved their passion for excellence, once again.

     

    From the month of October, the zealous children had been gearing up for the various levels of competitions like those in literary arts, fine arts and performing arts. The students enamored the judges with their writing and speaking skills in the Elocution and Essay Writing competitions as well as the Science Project, all of which were awarded various winning positions. The Science Quiz gathered instant accolades for the students as they bagged the first prize and third prize in the senior and junior category respectively; it not only widened their scope for exploring the various domains of scientific innovation but also helped them gather situational and experiential insight.  The Science Drama won special acclaim for being able to attain human connection from the singularity of words.

     

    The teacher’s competitions were also rightly represented with points adding to the score. The Teaching Aid competitions and the Population Education competitions were a clear sweep in both the Junior and Senior Category. The Teachers also won the Teacher’s Quiz competition, ranking third. The Lab Assistant category fetched the Academy, the first position.

     

    Winning at the prestigious P-Ward competitions is epical, as we celebrate our fifty years of excellence!

  • 17th State Sub Junior Wushu Championship (Boys and Girls) 2019-20

    Students of Children's Academy, Malad participated in 17th State Sub Junior Wushu Championship (Boys and Girls) 2019-20 held at Nagpur from 11th to 14th November 2019 and bagged the following medals:-

    Students of Children’s Academy, Malad participated in Reliance Foundation Youth Sports where

    Mst. Dev Panchal bagged Second Place and Mst. Aakash Das bagged Third Place in High Jump, Boys Under/16 category.

    Ms. Heena Bhandari bagged First Place in the Long jump.

    Mst. Krish Shah bagged Second Place and Mst. Lionel Michael bagged Third Place in Short Put.

  • Rural Game Skating State Level Championship 2019

    Mst. Meet Shah student of Children’s Academy, Malad participated in Rural Game Skating State Level Championship 2019 held at Yak Public School, Khopoli (Raigad District) and bagged 2nd Place.

    He is also selected to play for the National level at Shahapur Belgaum (Belgavi) Karnataka from 10th January to 12th January 2020.

  • National School Games 2019

    Ms. Srushti Shetty of Children’s Academy, Malad secured a Bronze medal in the long jump with a distance of 5:50 meter in the National School games conducted by SGFI at Punjab and has also qualified for KHELO INDIA in 100 meter sprint & long jump. With the addition to this achievement, two students of Children’s Academy have now qualified for KHELO INDIA this year.

  • The Science Coalition Inter-School Competition 2019-20

    Children’s Academy, Malad participated in The Science Coalition Inter-School Competition conducted by St. Gregorious High School on 23rd  November 2019. 

    Ms. Bhoomi SinghviMs. Falak Gala and Ms. Tanisha Jain bagged the first prize in the Rangoli Competition To Save Mother Earth .

    Ms. Nandini Kotian and Ms. Gulika Prajapati  bagged the third prize in the Science Project Futuristic Agro Farming the Need of the Hour.

  • Western India Zonal Science Drama Competition 2019-20

    A proud moment for the school!!
    Children’s Academy, Malad bagged the 1st prize at ‘Western India Zonal Science Drama Competition' organized by the National Council of Science Museums on 3rd December 2019 at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai. This is the 3rd time the school has won this prestigious award. 
    Ms Priya Soni bagged the Best Actress Award. 
    What a felicitous achievement as we celebrate our Golden Jubilee. The winners will now represent their alma mater at the National Science Drama Festival to be held at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkatta

    Mst. Jivansh Shah (Grade Sr. Kg B) of Children’s Academy, Ashok Nagar bagged the First Place in the Interschool competition at " Poinsur Gymkhana Skating Race" organised by Poinsur Gymkhana, Kandivali (w) on 1st December 2019.

  • AWIM Jettoy Challenge

    Mst. Rishi Shah (Grade VI), Mst. Supan Shah (Grade VI), Ms. Deeshaa Barbhaya (Grade VI) and Ms. Dhairya Gohil (Grade VI) of Children’s Academy, Ashok Nagar bagged the First Place in the " AWIM Jettoy Challenge" organised by M&M Training Center. The contestants had to make Balloon Propelled Cars.The Parameters of judging was  longest distance, longest time travel, speed and weight.  

  • PenPal Schools Personal Essay Contest 2019

    Over 700 students from more than 20 countries participated in the 2019 PenPal Schools Personal Essay Contest. Students were open to writing on the topic of their choice. Mst. Vineet Jogi from Children’s Academy, Thakur Complex is one of the winners of the 3 best essay awards. He wrote a personal narrative essay about his experience in the Sea Cadet Training Corps. As he explains in his essay, the Sea Cadet Training Corps is a non-governmental organization in India that has prepared thousands of cadets to be responsible citizens.

  • Creative Art Award

    Children's Academy, Ashok Nagar bagged the 'Best Creative Art' award at a unique competition conducted by Sanskriti Arts this Children's Day. 

    The students were expected to be a painting and walk the ramp following the theme 'Nurture the Nature'.

    Two students, Ms. Siya Gopani and Ms. Ahana Mistry along with their Art teacher Mr. Nilesh Yadav created an underwater theme urging people to save the marine life.

  • A Book I Wrote Competition 2019

    It's a proud moment for Children's Academy Malad. As our grade II student, Ms. Khanak Vipin Saboo has just won the most coveted title of a budding writer at a tender age of 7.

    Nehru Science center had organized a competition inviting all school children till age 12 to send their original written story on nature to be published in the book – A book I wrote.

    Ms. Khanak Saboo bagged a position in the top 6 slots and her story then got published in the book. Out of hundreds of entries, She was amongst the top 6 and amongst the youngest to achieve this fate.

  • Merarki Interschool Competition 2019

    Children's Academy Bachani Nagar won the Best School Trophy at the Ram Ratna International school Merarki Interschool Competition 2019.

    Children's Academy Malad bagged the 1st prize in State level Drama Competition held at St Urusula High School Nagpur for the 3rd consecutive year.

  • SGFI Shooting Competition 2019-20

    Mst. Tanish Risam, Children’s Academy Thakur Complex, bagged a Bronze medal at SGFI Shooting Competition at the National level. This mighty performance by him at SGFI Nationals in Bhopal made him the Best Rifle Shooter of India with SGFI and ICSE national medals within 7 months of joining.

    He secured Bronze Medal In u/14 Boys open sight amongst a strong field of 47 Shooters of 44 teams with a magnificent score of 336 and 3rd Position In SGFI Team championship.

  • Consumer Film Festival

    Mst. Moksh Vora from Childrens Academy Ashok Nagar participated in  "Consumer Film Festival" at CFBP (Council for fair business practises) for poster making contest and won "First Place" with a cash prize of Rs 10,000/-

    AISM, an association of ICSE and CBSE Schools had organised an on the Spot Art Competition.

    The participants were given 3 topics to choose from.

    3.A day which I can remember.

     Mst. Palaash had chosen rich world vs poor world and bagged the 2nd prize.

  • TIME Aqua Regia-Science Quiz Contest 2019

This enthusiastic, articulate young student began writing at the tender age of eight. She revels in writing mysteries and fantasies.

  • Young Authors Award 2019

    Young Storytellers is a compilation of 52 stories written by children across India. A unique initiative by Crossword Book stores Ltd. it provides a platform for new and young budding voices in the literary world.

    The story written by Ms. Asmi Ganatra of Children’s Academy, Ashok Nagar features among the 52 stories in the book and has been selected from more than 30,000 entries received.

  • Recycling reel Video Contest 2019

    Mst. Priyam Parekh, Mst. Rudra Premani and Mst. Pranoy Puthran of Children’s Academy, Ashok Nagar bagged the FIRST PLACE at the "Recycling reel Video Contest" where the initiatives taken by the school  to conserve the environment were showcased.

    The prize won is a CHAIR made from waste Tetra Packs.

    Mst. Dev Metha from Children's Academy Ashok Nagar participated in "Clash of pi ” online math Quiz and bagged the 25th rank at National Level.

  • Arybhatta National Math Exam 2019

    Mst. Aarav Lakhani and Mst. Seeddharth Dungar from Children's Academy Ashok Nagar participated in " Arybhatta National Math Exam” conducted by All India Council for technical Skill on 07th June 2019 and are among the top 20 finalists for the National Level Online Math Quiz.

  • AISM Declamation Award 2019

    Out of 250 participants, Ms. Isha Madhlani of Children’s Academy, Ashok Nagar, bagged the SECOND PLACE at the "AISM Declamation" competition. The participants had to talk like a famous world personality with proper Voice - Modulation and intonation for the elimination round. Isha portrayed herself as Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize Laureate.

  • Robotex Award 2019

    Mst. Palaash Jadav, from Grade 7, Children's Academy, Thakur Complex,Kandivali East had recently participated  in the regional robotics championship 'Robotex'.

    Palaash has designed a working model of a robot called KISANOBOT (kisan and robot) which ploughs, measures soil moisture before watering, drops seeds and cuts weeds/ harvests crops.

     At the National level, Palaash put a brilliant show and bagged the Second Prize amongst a group of 25 teams all over India. The judges were impressed with the overall presentation, the concept, the knowledge about the subject and the energy!

    He has indeed made his school, his friends and family proud! He was also invited to a 'Robotics' event to be held in China.

    Mst. Arnav Chokhawala competed in a story writing competition for Times. He bagged the special award from Story Mirror for the highest number of views for his story called Time Capsule.

  • First Look of School Smart Uniform

    The Management of Children’s Academy Group of Schools is proud to unveil the newly designed ‘School Smart Uniform’ today. It is conceptualized and designed by Mst. Yug Sheth, Grade VII –A, our student at Ashok Nagar branch.

    Children’s Academy endeavours to nurture confident and empowered students by providing ample moments to hone their creativity and imagination. The ‘School Smart Uniform’ was one such opportunity. The students not only styled their uniform but also voiced their preference to the Management through the poll, thus becoming a major contributor in the decision making procedure.
